2. Quotes and Estimates

All quotes and system designs are based on the information provided by the customer at the time of request.

  • Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
  • Changes in material pricing, supply availability, or project scope may result in a revised estimate.
  • Labor time is estimated based on experience and industry standards; final billing may vary if the project scope changes or unforeseen conditions occur.

We reserve the right to adjust pricing or modify a quote if the scope of work changes after approval.

3. Orders and Payments

  • Orders for products or services must be paid in full before shipment or scheduling unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
  • Accepted payment methods include credit card, ACH, or other methods listed at checkout or on your invoice.
  • Returned or declined payments may incur additional processing fees.

If a project requires a deposit the remaining balance must be paid before completion unless otherwise arranged in writing.

4. Shipping and Delivery

For physical product orders (such as inverters or other solar items, batteries, or accessories):

  • Shopping times are estimates and may vary due to carrier delays or product availability.
  • Risk of loss transfers to the customer once the product has been delivered to the carrier.
  • Inspect all shipments upon arrival and notify us within 5 business days of any damage or missing items.

5. Installation and On-Site Services

When performing installations or upgrades:

  • The customer is responsible for providing access to the site and ensuring a safe work environment.
  • Any additional work required due to hidden conditions (including but not limited to wiring, water leaks, or structural issues) may result in additional charges.
  • Rising Sun Solar Outfitters LLC technicians follow industry safety standards and install products according to manufacturer specifications.

6. Product and Labor Warranty

  • Manufacturer warranties apply to all products we sell (Victron, Rich Solar, batteries, etc).
  • Rising Sun Solar Outfitters LLC provides a 1-year limited labor and workmanship warranty on completed installations.
  • Warranty coverage does not apply to issues caused by user modification, improper operation, external damage, or unauthorized repairs.

Warranty service may require diagnostic verification. Replacement or repair is at our discretion.

7. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Orders may be cancelled before shipment, subject to restocking or transaction fees.
  • Custom or special order items may not be refundable once processing begins.
  • Installation cancellations require at least 7 days notice to avoid cancellation charges.

Refunds, when approved, will be issued to the original payment method within 7-10 business days.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on our website including text, graphics, images, logos, and videos is the property of Rising Sun Solar Outfitters LLC or our licensors and is protected under applicable copyright and trademark laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use our materials for commercial purposes without written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

Rising Sun Solar Outfitters LLC is not responsible for:

  • Losses or damages caused by improper use or maintenance of installed equipment.
  • Downtime, lost data, or indirect/consequential damages related to product or service use.
  • Power system performance that differs from estimates due to user settings, environmental conditions, or third-party equipment.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the total amount paid by you for the product or service giving rise to the claim.

10. Communications and Messaging

By submitting a quote form, placing an order, or contacting us, you agree that Rising Sun Solar Outfitters LLC may communicate with you via email, phone, or text message regarding your project or purchase.

Your contact information will not be sold or shared with third parties.

11. Privacy
