Our Process
Understanding your style and needs starts the process we follow for all custom solar solutions in whatever application: off-grid, RV, utility trailer, or other ideas you have. The goal: a solar energy system you can rely on, with high quality components.
Here's how we work with you
1
Chat
We start by understanding the details of your idea: the equipment you have, goals, and budget. We'll get dimensions of the important areas (roof, storage, etc.). Each build is different, and we tailor to your requirements.
2
Planning
We prepare a proposal outlining the scope of the project, materials, and what to expect when we're finished. We will present this to you, make any adjustments to finalize the plan. Once you approve, we move forward to scheduling your install. A down payment is required at this time to hold the slot. We make arrangement to procure the equipment for the project.
3
Install
Based on our plan, you'll either drop your equipment off, or we'll come to you.
Unless we planned for something else with you, we use high quality Victron components. We've trained with Victron, and you can rest assured your new system is being installed with care and knowledge.
4
Test
We test each part of your new system. We're looking to make sure that all the systems work as before, while stepping through the process we follow for each build, including charging from shore or generator if you have it, cycling new batteries, and using a thermal camera to look for any hot spots while running under load.
5
Pickup
We'll let you know when your project is complete. Before you head out, we'll go over every part of your system to familiarize you with its operation. You can ask any questions, take notes, etc.
We provide a small folder that includes a list of the equipment you purchased with serial numbers, bluetooth pairing codes, and any other relevant information.
Our commitment to you began at the start of your project and continues beyond. Wherever your travels take you, call, text, or email should you need anything!
